I'm not who I was

This is actually Freds blog. He wanted me to do it for him.

Last week at work Fred as usal has to keep the homless off the job sites. There was this one guy sitten up on the wall under the bridge. He told him like all the others, that he has to leave. The guy gave him no problems which is not usually the case. Fred came back around to the area and the guy was walking through the gate. Fred gave him the look, ( I'm surprised he didnt pull out the cell phone. LOL) I guess because he said The Guy said "I know, I'm leaving. I just wanted to take a short cut". As the guy passed Fred, Fred said "Hey come back here!" The guy said "Ah man, I.. " Fred stopped him and said " No man, I just wanted to ask you what book is that your reading?" The guy replied "Its my bible" Fred took it from him and gave him one of his he had in the truck. Fred said "Sorry I dont have anything else to give you but here is a newer bible." Fred said that the guy was very thankful. They got to talking and his name is Joe. Joe actually use to work for the same company that Fred is working for. You never know what the Lord is up to so I thought "I hope this not a glimps of our future!" LOL Anyways Joe was very excited for his new Bible.

A week passes. The Friday of my surgery, we could not get my meds till later in the day. Which for me was not fun. But God was up to something. Fred finally was able to go get the meds. He went through the drive-thru at HEB. As he was waiting there for the pharmacist, someone walked by the car a little to close. He looked to see to the side of the car and what does he see? His bible!!! He rolled down the window and called him over. It was Joe! The day after they met the first time, Joe had gotten a job that lasted 3 days. The pharmacist stuck her head out the window and gave him the Look. Fred told the pharmacist "It's ok I know him." Joe responded "Yeah he's my freind."

Now Fred works over at 410 & Ingram. There second encounter was at 1604 & Culebra. WOW!!

Fred is not who he was!
That bible was not what is was!
Joe was not who he was!

I'm excited to see when the next time they meet!
