Is it possible they see God in us?

Is it possible the love and care of a neighbor could break through culture, religion and race? Is it possible that frozen meals provided and bought by caring and praying women that a Hindu lady does not even know would speak Jesus' love like no sermon could ever do?

I talked briefly with Nena Barnett’s Hindu neighbors yesterday both before and after worship. He was amazingly intrigued by it all, came to Guest Reception and will attend Base Camp next week. To what degree they have ever heard the gospel we do not know, so pray for these early encounters. One thing is sure…they have seen the Barnett’s loving concern. It was cool to see the women of EPIC provide some support to Nena. Who knows what God will do in all this. Pray.

From Nena: "... praise God (!!!) that our neighbor Bindu Joshi is doing well through her chemo treatment and is in high spirits. Last week we offered to bring their kiddoes to church so she could have an afternoon to rest and were floored when husband Jay asked if we'd mind if he and Bindu joined us as well (they are practicing Hindus). Of course we were ecstatic! They came with us on Sunday, both of the girls loved their SEEDS classes and both Jay and Bindu enjoyed the service and Arnie's sermon. They plan on returning next week and attending Base Camp. I know this would have not been possible without the army of prayer they received from Grace Point (and thanks, EPIC life group, for the wonderful meals you sent to them as well!!). Please continue to lift this family up."

Mark 10:27 -
Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God."

Now that's a God Spot! Isn't it amazing how it doesn't take a whole lot of effort or time to make a significant impact for Christ?! Let's keep praying for our Hindu friends and others as God sensitizes our hearts. We can make the difference God desires and share in His abundance. Wahoo!
