Hey EPIC, I hope everyone is having a great finish to your week. I have an idea for an imprompto outing for EPIC and I want to see if any of you would like to join me. Next Friday, April 4, at the Alamodome is the Final Four Free Practice Session for the college men's basketball tournament. And yes I said FREE. I've gone to this event the last two times San Antonio was fortunate enough to host the final four (1998 and 2002 I think, or was it 2004?). Anyway take a look at the event using the site above.
Doors open at the dome at 11:00 a.m. and right at 12 noon the first of the final four teams comes out and holds a full practice. It runs till 4p.m. and you get to see all four teams in action. Best of all you usually can sit anywhere in the lower dome (no nosebleed seating).
I'm planning to take a half day of vacation to go. If anyone is interested in going with me, or meeting me there let me know. The only cost is the parking ($10 or $12 bucks maybe), and any food / drinks at the Alamodome.
