Pregnant with God Spots

Definition of pregnant: "of great importance or potential; momentous: a pregnant moment in the history of the world".

I attended EPIC last night with my friends and fellow God Spotters. What a week of God Spots! I thought I'd take the liberty to share with the world what I saw as 'God Spots'. I think I was most blinded by the light. :) Cora says I have to say I think when I may be stretching the limits of truth. Maybe I am. Maybe I'm not.

Giving credit to God and only God for the events of this last week that were shared in EPIC, I noted the following as best I recall:

Fearless leader Dave had the opportunity to talk truth and Jesus into a person's life that had no desire to continue living the life he was experiencing. It's awesome to think about a person's dramatic turn from darkness to light. From lies to truth. From self addiction to God addiction. Thank you Dave for your faithfulness to God and EPIC.

Going around the room.... Jeffery had a wonderful medical exam I wished he hadn't shared in such detail (just kidding), but he spotted God in a 3 car accident where he found himself as the spam in the middle of the sandwich. God was there. Who else could have acted as your buffer from disaster? You weren't hurt and the car is but a 'Red Dot', anyway. Right?

Then Barbara spotted God at work in her making a choice to wash her car (a red dot) or help others in service. She chose the jewel and still had time to wash the dot.

Tamara spotted God in sensitizing her toward the need to do God's work as a priority and how to balance it with caring for her beautiful baby, education and work.

Denise and Bart were part of a blinding God Spot. They identified struggle in their life and ran to God instead of away from God. That is BIG! Our earlier studies by Dave and attended by God, have instilled a sense of awareness that struggle is ok and is used by God to make us strong. Once again, God allows us to kick the evil one in the teeth. Go Bart and Denise!

And we have television celebrities, Ma and Pa Ludwick. They are watching God do a miraculous work through their children. John Mark is making national news about the heart monitor he wears during his Super Star quality basketball appearance. The family is giving God the credit for his good health in spite of the concerns for his heart.

Janette is beginning the adventure of blogging. Now that is a God Spot, but even bigger is her blessing with more people showing up at her house for life changing instruction. I look forward to hearing how God is spotted working in her new life group. Awesome!

Cora shared how our family is being brought back together again with Jeff, April and family's move to San Antonio. This is huge! God has blessed them and us with His favor. Score another big upset by God!

Bill Fogle spotted God working in his job with a raise and bonus to start the year. Wahoo! Our biggest God spotting from him was the Cinnamon rolls that Kathy sent. God is good! Get well Kathy. We missed you!

John and Pam visited EPIC and spotted God working in each of us. John serves Gracepoint and Pam is enjoying her new job. God continues to work in their lives.

Ray was the quiet one last night, but came alive when he realized 'O'bedience is one thing he would have a hard time letting go of.

As for me, my God spot was a coffee date I had with a guy that has quickly impacted my life. It was absolutely incredible. How long has it been since you spotted someone else tear up in the eyes when he talked about God? How long has it been since you teared up talking about the graciousness of God (sounds like the Wolf brand chili commercial)? Well, that's too long.

God is alive and well. He is taking an active part in your and my life as evidenced by God Spots from each of us this last week. Our walk with God is gaining momentum. Help me identify what might be our 'Tipping Point' and what it will look like on the other side.

Thank you Dave for great leadership and we missed you Jo. Am praying for a quick healing from the 'Bug'.

Great post Archie! I'm enjoying your blog mania big time. After my initial reluctance to talk about "my procedure" I was fine about it. It truly was a piece of cake. The hardest part is the clearing out the pipeline so-to-speak.
Keep up the good bloggin' my man!!

'Clearing out the pipeline'! Please no more. Make him stop. :)

The word "pipeline" will never be the same for me! This fellowship thing is getting deep...literally! We may never get to the "bottom" of it. This could be what is "behind" our growth. DG
